PDepp is an effort to develop a small web server. The program being implemented is called pdeppd. As of pdeppd pre 0.3.1 (Heart Of Gold) it does currently support a subset of HTTP 1.0, a number of concurrent http connections, up to 1000 parallel freely configurable log files and it can serve static files.
The PDEPP Webserver has been extensively debugged using malloc debuggers like Electric Fence and mpatrol and thus should already have a relatively robust memory management.
Additionally it has been tested with all major browsers running on Unix™.
